Tips & Troubleshooting

Did you know that you should have your Backflow Prevention unit tested at least every year?  Did you know a malfunctioning device leaves your family and your community at risk of drinking contaminated water?  As with anything, these devices are not designed to last forever.  Unfortunately there is really no way to look at the device and make sure that it is functioning properly.  This can only be checked by a TCEQ Certified Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester.  If you want to make sure that your's is working properly, please call to schedule an appointment today.

Before a big freeze comes take the time to water your landscape.  This will help insulate the plants and protect them.  Also, make sure to shut your irrigation system down at the backflow prevention device by turning the valve off.  Cover any delicate plants with something to protect them from the frost.

Don't forget to adjust your watering days and times during the hot summer months.  Our Central Texas weather can be brutal on your landscape.

Remember, if you have new landscape you may need to water several times each week until the root system can get established.
